India's Making AIR DEFENSE system

 India is developing its own air defence system that is a level of Russia s400 , USA's THAAD ( The High Altitude Air Defence). Currently, it is a project which is under development name 'Project Kusha'.
Which has Range of 350km and it is capable of shooting down all enemies air object like ballistic missile, air to air missile, air to ground missile, fighter jet, cargo plane etc. 

But why India need this because it already have s400?

The deal of india and russia on s400 is a 5.6 billion dollars deal in which russia promises to give the 5 squadron of s400 and each squadron contains 16 vehicle but till date russia only delivered 3 of them 2 squadron still left. 

Why Russia delaying the delivery?

The ongoing conflict of Russia-Ukraine which played a major factor in delaying the delivery of s400 where russia is busy in war the doing all its efforts to win this war and the sanction put by the western countries on russia which also getting problem to russia to get raw material and equipments but one more problem is why russia delaying this delivery is political pressure of China. As the sanction put on Russia by western countries russia is now fully dependent on china and now as china knows this weapon is used against him by India it giving a political pressure to russia to delaying this delivery 

What is India's move 

As we know the defence equipment imports from russia is fell down from 2017 to 2022 as of 62 percent to 45 percent respectively. But still india making its efforts to get independent in defence sector Project Kusha is one of the example of that and not only this india's LCH ( Light Combat Helicopter), Tejas Fighter and many more this are seen example to jet more and more focus on developing by own and get rid of dependency on other countries. But this process is not a one day task it surely need someway around 20 to 30 year but india is progressing to fast that it may be do it early.

Cost India paying to developing its ROADS?
